BOSCH is developing an anti-lock braking system (ABS), which is now mandatory on all new vehicles in the EU. ABS detects wheel lock-up at an early stage and adjusts braking pressure accordingly.
ESP is designed to prevent skidding situations. It stabilizes the vehicle by acting on the engine and brakes in a targeted manner and braking the wheels concerned. ESP is compulsory on new cars registered since 2014.
For greater safety and to ensure the longevity of the ABS and ESP systems, you need to be rigorous in maintaining your brake fluid.

It is recommended that rear brake kits be replaced on average every 80 000km. During the replacement of the rear brake kit, remember to check the condition of the brake cables. |
